How to research SpaceX announcements and milestones
SpaceX research is most useful when it separates an announcement from the evidence that supports it. Start with the original source and record its publication date. A company statement describes what the company says; an agency document may establish the scope of a mission or an authorization. Reporting can provide additional context, but an article repeating the same press release is not an independent confirmation. In SPCX Intelligence, an event’s references are the starting point for checking the summary, not a substitute for reading the underlying documents.
Technology coverage should distinguish test objectives, observed results and future plans. Falcon 9, Starship and Starlink involve different kinds of evidence, so a single progress percentage is rarely meaningful. For a launch, check the mission description and the reported outcome. For a development test, separate the intended demonstration from what was actually documented. For a satellite service, identify whether a statement concerns deployment, service availability or a regulatory decision. A future target should remain labeled as a target until later evidence confirms completion.
Commercial and regulatory events require similar care. A partnership announcement is not necessarily a signed contract with a disclosed value. An authorization is not proof that operations have begun. When reading an archived event, compare the event date with the article’s publication date and note whether the source is primary or secondary. Company materials, NASA documents and Federal Communications Commission records can answer different questions. Prefer the document relevant to the specific claim rather than treating every official link as proof of the entire summary.
Finally, keep financial interpretation separate from documented facts. Two events occurring close together do not establish causation, and a price chart alone cannot establish the cause of a market movement. Check the timestamp and provider delay of any quote. AI summaries can help organize a source collection, but their wording should be checked against the references before being cited. When quoting this terminal, cite the specific public page and, wherever possible, the original source supporting the factual statement. Use the Contact page to report missing references or a misleading interpretation.
